Therapy Services at Body and Mindfully Healthy

At Body and Mindfully Healthy, we believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and supported as whole humans - mind, body, relationships, and lived experience included.

We provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. Our clinicians are trained to work from a trauma-informed, relational, and nervous-system-aware lens, meeting you where you are and helping you move toward greater clarity, connection, and resilience.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship strain, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to do it alone.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at Body and Mindfully Healthy offers a confidential space to explore what’s weighing on you at your pace, in your own way.

Our therapists work collaboratively with you to understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and support meaningful change.

Individual therapy may help with:

  • Anxiety, panic, and chronic stress

  • Depression or emotional numbness

  • Trauma, PTSD, and complex trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions and identity changes

  • Burnout, compassion fatigue, and overwhelm

  • Self-esteem and boundary challenges

Our clinicians draw from evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic and body-based interventions, and client-centered therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel more regulated, empowered, and connected to yourself.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be deeply meaningful, and deeply challenging. Couples therapy provides a structured, supportive space to slow things down, understand patterns, and rebuild connection.

Couples often seek therapy for:

  • Communication breakdowns or frequent conflict

  • Trust issues or infidelity

  • Emotional disconnection or resentment

  • Parenting stress or blended family challenges

  • Life transitions impacting the relationship

  • Healing after trauma or significant stressors

Our approach to couples therapy is non-judgmental and collaborative, helping each partner feel heard while working toward shared goals. We focus on emotional safety, healthier communication, and understanding how past experiences and nervous system responses show up in the relationship.

Family Therapy

Families are complex systems, and when one part is struggling, it can impact everyone. Family therapy creates space for honest conversations, improved communication, and stronger relationships.

Family therapy may be helpful for:

  • Parent-child or adolescent concerns

  • Behavioral or emotional challenges in children or teens

  • Family conflict or transitions (divorce, reunification, blended families)

  • Caregiver stress and burnout

  • Improving boundaries, roles, and understanding

Our clinicians work with families from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective, honoring each person’s experience while supporting healthier patterns and connection.

Our Approach

At Body and Mindfully Healthy, therapy is:

  • Trauma-informed – We understand how past experiences shape current responses

  • Client-centered – You are the expert on your life

  • Collaborative – Therapy is something we do with you, not to you

  • Whole-person focused – Mind, body, emotions, and relationships all matter

We strive to create an environment that feels safe, respectful, and empowering, where clients of all backgrounds and identities feel welcomed and supported.

What to Expect

  • Sessions are offered in-person and via telehealth, depending on clinician availability

  • Treatment plans are individualized and reviewed collaboratively

  • Progress happens at your pace. There is no “right” timeline for healing

Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning after past experiences, we aim to meet you with compassion and clarity.
