Robin McMillian is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Prior to earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2021, Robin worked extensively with children, adolescents, and teens through a community services board. Her background includes case management, therapeutic day treatment within school settings, parent education, and intensive in-home services.

In 2021, Robin transitioned into outpatient counseling, where she has continued to serve children, adolescents, teens, and adults in her role as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Same Day Access Intake Counselor. This breadth of experience allows her to support clients across the lifespan with compassion and clinical insight.

Robin specializes in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She is passionate about helping clients feel heard, recognize their strengths, and reconnect with their ability to shape their own future. Her person-centered approach integrates evidence-based practices and allows therapy to be tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals.

Robin believes in meeting clients where they are and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for processing life’s challenges while encouraging personal growth and resilience.

Outside of the counseling office, Robin enjoys spending time with her family, being in nature, photography, thrifting, and junk journaling and other creative outlets that support balance and self-expression.
