Trudi earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP accredited) through Liberty University. She previously studied business and earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Radford University.

​

Trudi believes that meeting the client where they are and walking beside them is key to helping them navigate life's changing landscapes. She provides counseling services through the Galax location and is passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced addiction and/or trauma. With her EMDR training, Trudi is equipped to help clients process and heal from difficult life experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and certified as a SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) assessment facilitator.

Trudi can accept Medicaid-based plans through Aetna BetterHealth, Anthem HealthKeepers, Humana, Optima, Optum, Sentara, and Virginia Premier, as well as commercial insurance plans with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. Self-pay and out-of-network billing options are also available.
