Logan Belcher, M.S., Resident in Counseling, is a compassionate, client-centered mental health professional dedicated to helping children, adolescents, college students, and young adults navigate life's challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and improve their emotional well-being.

Logan believes that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, empathy, and collaboration. He strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey.

Logan's therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based treatment that helps individuals recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and make meaningful behavioral changes. He tailors his counseling approach to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals, recognizing that no two individuals experience mental health challenges in the same way.

Logan brings valuable experience providing community-based and in-home mental health services, including working with youth through Program of Assertive Community Treatment (K-PACT) services. His experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in community settings has strengthened his understanding of the complex emotional, behavioral, social, and environmental factors that influence mental health. Through this work, Logan has helped individuals navigate mental health challenges while building practical skills to improve daily functioning, strengthen relationships, and foster greater stability.

In addition to his community-based mental health experience, Logan has worked with college students, individuals navigating substance use and recovery, and children and adolescents from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. These experiences have shaped his culturally responsive, strengths-based approach to counseling.

Logan earned his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Radford University. He is passionate about helping young people build resilience, increase self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop the confidence and skills needed to navigate life's transitions.

Logan is currently welcoming Commercial Cigna, Commercial & Medicaid Anthem / Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Commercial Optum/UnitedHealthcare, as well as self-pay clients at our Radford office, Roanoke office, and via telehealth. Self-pay and out-of-network billing are options, as well.

Logan is under the clinical supervision of Rebecca Worrell, LPC.
