Virginia License No. 0701015371

Nathan Foust is a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of experience in the mental health field. He has worked across a range of settings, including residential treatment, skills-building programs, case management, and crisis intervention. Nathan specializes in helping individuals process trauma, manage anxiety and depression, navigate life transitions, and rebuild a sense of meaning, stability, and purpose.

Nathan earned his master’s degree in Counseling from Oregon State University. His therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), existential therapy, and person-centered therapy. He tailors treatment to each individual’s unique needs while honoring each client’s voice, values, and personal strengths.

Nathan believes that healing happens within a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic relationship. While the work of therapy can feel challenging at times, he also sees it as deeply meaningful and rewarding. He strives to build a strong therapeutic alliance and support clients as they move through life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.

Nathan currently provides services via telehealth and is accepting self-pay clients as well as CuraLinc EAP referrals. He has limited in-person availability at the Radford office.
