Michelle Ousley is a Resident in Counseling with over four years of experience supporting individuals in crisis and recovery. Her work is grounded in compassion, empathy, and lived understanding, which allows her to connect authentically with clients who are navigating trauma, substance use challenges, and life transitions.

Michelle’s professional background includes extensive experience in crisis intervention and trauma recovery, where she has provided both immediate support and long-term strategies for healing. She is passionate about helping individuals process painful experiences, rebuild a sense of safety, and regain control over their lives. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with genuine presence and care, empowering clients to create meaningful and sustainable change.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Radford University. She utilizes a compassionate, client-centered approach that emphasizes collaboration, trust, and empowerment.
Aligned with Body and Mindfully Healthy’s mission of providing holistic, trauma-informed care, Michelle strives to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and encouraged to move toward healing: mind, body, and spirit.

Michelle accepts Medicaid-based plans through Aetna BetterHealth, Anthem HealthKeepers, Humana, Optima, Optum, Sentara, and Virginia Premier, as well as commercial insurance plans with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. Self-pay and out-of-network billing are options, as well. ​
