Residents in Counseling are welcome to inquire as Jenn Estep, LPC, Rebecca Worrell, LPC, Angeline Saferight-Lloyd, LPC, and Ellisse Sawyers, LPC are Virginia Board of Counseling Approved Supervisors who can assist with residency supervision. Please note, Melissa Londry, LPC is currently at capacity for supervising Residents in Counseling. ​

INTERNSHIPS

RESERVE YOUR INTERNSHIP FOR 2026-2027. Looking for an opportunity to obtain experience in the field? Interns provide pro bono (or free) support services to those without insurance as both a learning opportunity for the intern and a way to make mental health support more accessible to those without insurance. RESIDENCY SUPERVISION

We welcome Residents in Counseling who are seeking a collaborative environment where they can gain quality clinical experience while receiving supportive and individualized supervision. 

Residents have the opportunity to work with several experienced clinicians and Virginia Board of Counseling Approved Supervisors, allowing for a strong supervisory match based on clinical interests, personality, and professional goals.

Jenn Estep, LPC

Jenn provides supportive and practical supervision focused on building clinical confidence, ethical decision-making, case conceptualization, and professional growth. She enjoys helping residents strengthen their therapeutic skills while developing their unique counseling style.

Rebecca Worrell, LPC

Rebecca is passionate about mentoring new clinicians and helping residents navigate the transition from graduate training to independent practice. Her supervision emphasizes clinical competence, professional identity development, and providing high-quality client care.

Angeline Saferight-Lloyd, LPC

Angeline offers a warm and encouraging supervisory style that supports residents in developing clinical skills, navigating ethical challenges, and building confidence in their work with clients from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.

Ellisse Sawyers, LPC

Ellisse provides a person-centered and strengths-based approach to supervision, helping residents develop confidence in their clinical judgment while honoring authenticity and therapeutic relationship-building. Her background in both school counseling and outpatient mental health allows her to support clinicians working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
