Meet Hannah
"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."
This quote has guided Hannah throughout her life and career. Her path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a passion for helping others discover hope, healing, and authenticity, especially during life's most challenging seasons.
Hannah earned her Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Bluefield University in 2023. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, she gained experience working in public education, community services, and college counseling settings, supporting children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. These experiences reinforced her belief that everyone deserves a safe place to feel heard, valued, and understood.
Hannah's Approach to Counseling
Hannah believes that therapy is a collaborative journey, not one where the therapist has all the answers, but one where you work together to uncover your strengths, process difficult experiences, and move toward the life you want to create.
She often compares therapy to a road trip:
"You're in the driver's seat, and I'm in the passenger seat helping you navigate the journey."
Her counseling style is warm, genuine, compassionate, and affirming. Hannah strives to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves without fear of judgment. She recognizes that healing looks different for every person and tailors treatment to meet each client's unique goals and experiences.
Hannah primarily utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Relational-Cultural Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing life experiences.

What You Can Expect
Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but Hannah's goal is to help clients feel comfortable from the very first session.
She believes healing starts with connection, curiosity, and compassion. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling overwhelmed, Hannah provides a supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace while building practical skills to help you move forward.
One message she hopes every client carries with them is:
